17-19 L5P Duramax was GM's sixth iteration of a common rail Diesel engine.  It was a major upgrade from the LML in horsepower figures with a 48hp bump to 445hp and massive jump to 910 Lb/Ft of torque.  This generation of Duramax was the first to utilize a Denso HP4 injection pump and injectors, and a DEF/SCR system was installed to meet stringent emission requirements as well as a larger EGR and oil cooler.  Deviant has built several parts to compliment the L5P platform of GM Trucks, including the first transmission line rub fix, transmission repair lines, crank pully pin kit, Traction bars, single hole billet fuel sumps, and other add on accessories.
